Engine: 2496 cc inline six cylinder, 150 hp @ 5,500 rpm
The 1961-1971 Paul Bracq-designed W111 was based on the 'fintall' W110 saloon and cost the equivalent of £170,000 (2014). The deisgn was more restrained and squared-off than the fintall saloon models. There was no direct replacement for this model until the C126 coupe of 1981.
This car was originally sold in Germany and then exported to the USA, where upon US-spec lights were fitted and remain on the car. The rare 4-speed manual tranmission is fitted to this car.
