Moulding Wik Commander Fus II
Film photography is 'old school' these days. So is building a Wik Commander - a 50 year old 'pattern ship' design. Here are some photos of club members moulding the fuselage in glass fibre and epoxy ... The mould and epoxy coated glass fibre will be 'vacuum bagged' later to create a light and very precise structure.
(A 'pattern ship' is a radio-controlled model airplane built to perform aerobatic manouvers or patterns in the sky.)
Asahi Pentax Spotmatic F with the Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 28mm F3.5 and the AF280T flash on Auto.
Ilford FP4+ (expired) developed in D-76 1+1 in the Jobo Autolab ATL-1500 film processor
