Dannebrog
According to legend, the Danish national flag - Dannebrog - came into Danish possession during the Battle of Lynanisse (Tallinn) in 1219. The Danes were on a failing crusade in Estonia, but after praying to God a flag (Dannebrog) fell from the sky. After this event, Danish King Valdemar II went on to defeat the Estonians. This site near the old city wall is reportedly were the event should have taken place and is marked with a representation of the Danish flag.
