CR 1657 helper on WIET-05 @ VO Tower Butler, PA 3-3-1985.
The WIET-05 head end seen in previous post has the 1654 as a single unit helper shoving gondola loads of scrap metal up the B&LE interchange connection. Transfer caboose 18561 is just ahead of the helper. The scrap metal most likely headed to nearby Armco Steel which the B&LE accessed.
The old main into town can be seen at the lower left. The B&LE mainline can be seen above the train.
