The beginning

So on our trip to Yellowstone this summer our short list of animals to see (and photograph) were bear, wolf, and moose. We didn't see any of them and settled for a small herd of cow elk grazing along the roadside. It's funny how ambitious your goals are but I'm realizing that photography is a bit like fishing. Takes a lot of time, knowledge and good equipment to land a big one.
