October 3 - Costa Rica

Started out the day with a guide who was with us through approximately lunch. We would not have found the Spectacled Owls, Dull-mantled Ant-bird or the Thicket Antpitta without him. He was also an expert on hummingbirds. Unfortunately there were so many hummingbirds moving around so fast it was impossible for me to get photos of all of them. The Blue-throated Goldentail was probably my favorite.
It rained after lunch but we made it to a nearby trail to find a few more birds before it got dark (starting at the Southern Lapwing)
