Banded Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) at Conowingo Dam

The eagles were flying close to the viewing area today and afforded a pretty good photo of the underside view. Although I didn't know it at the time this bird was banded and therefore possible to trace its lineage.

 

This Bald Eagle has a New Jersey identification number of C96 and was born at Duke Farms.
