Tacos La Estrella

Tacos La Estrella on Figueroa in Highland Park, CA (just outside downtown Los Angeles) recently closed (Jan. 13, 2023) after 25 years of operation the victim of gentrification. The owner of the property sold it and the new owner had no need for an old school taqueria. The owner of Tacos La Estrella was hoping to open across the street. I haven't been there to see if that has happened.
