Money was not the only thing Otto gambled with, he even took a gamble with Fate, when he met a guy named Adriano Navarro. Though, he once wanted to have his own Casino, meeting Mr. Navarro changed that.
"I don't know your past at all…but just by looking into your eyes I can tell there's something bad about you." Adriano said.
'Yes…this is fate' Otto thought, his heart almost fluttered, 'the person who will accept me for all of my dirt, flaws and mistakes…I finally met him!' he widened his eyes.
But Navarro was not who Otto believed him to be.
"I don't wanna see you ever again, you lying thief…" Adriano looked the other way, "I thought you were something else."

"I can tell there's something bad about you, he said…" Otto mumbled as he blew smoke and continued counting his money. Adriano might have sensed some darkness in Otto, but he would have never guessed that Otto could steal from anyone. And Otto wished he never told Adriano his life story in a moment where he realized he was deeply in love and hoped for Adriano to still love him and all of his flaws.
"Who says there's no such thing as never…" Otto put away his pipe, but continued to count his money.
Otto couldn't see the appeal to gambling after that, but still loved his money dearly.
