Cedar Waxwing WSU oak

Are we having an irruption this year of Cedar Waxwings? It may be my imagination, but it seems like I am seeing more than usual. And many of them have not yet developed the signature red waxy wingtips, indicating they are still young. This one was seen at WSU Vancouver.
