I've put a spell on you!

I'm just sitting in the kitchen having my morning cup of coffee when I see this guy staring at me, completely immobile. He stays for at least a quarter of an hour. And suddenly I see this picture in my mind...peanuts, lots of peanuts, strewn all over the deck. I shake my head...was it a spell? He does look a bit bewitching. What is this compulsion I feel to go to the grocery store and buy peanuts?
