Closing the year with one of my coolest 2021 projects, this time in full picture!
I started the year dreaming of a Ritchey Ultra 2021 to enjoy the ride of steel.
This turned into a heritage build, with every component, every screw referring to a famous historical à MTB Component.
With the help of some passionate people I was able to learn more about Ritchey and MTB history. Then started the hunt for an original Ultra from late 80’s. Was able to find one in Germany! It is not yet a true 1989 catalog build (will follow), but an (almost) perfect sibling to the 2021, simply with the original MTB components.
