36_DT Swiss Predictive Steering 240S Hub (1)
Accompanying the launch of the Magura Gustav M brake, a new hub type was needed, to hold the disc. A new standard arises: the IS 6 bold interface, and once more, DT Swiss was the first to follow Magura: they released a specific Hub version of their "Hügi" line-up with 6 screws to hold the disc.
This hub was almost indestructible: the hub and bearings could last years without maintenance!
When in 2014 Rockshox launched the inverted RS-1, again a new hub type was needed: the inverted concept needed a very rigid hub-fork leg interface. Once more, DT Swiss was prompt to support Rockshox and proposed a specific version of their famous 240s following the proprietary Predictive Steering Interface of the RS-1.
And it works flawlessly: this is the first time an inverted fork can be compared to standard forks.
