09_1990_Flite

One component travelled unchanged over time: the Selle Italia Flite saddle. In 1990, saving weight, increasing comfort and easy pedaling could simply be achieved by changing your saddle, and the Flite Titanium was the preferred option of most riders. Lightweight At 220g, titanium rails absorbing vibration and the long and narrow form made this saddle a game changer. And the Flite is still today in the line-up of Selle Italia.

For weight weenies, the Carbonio version was the ultimate solution available in 1995. Surprisingly, this saddle, with his raw carbon finish and no padding was still very comfortable, as carbon was forming to the driver.

Today, Selle Italia saddles suit me best and SLR X-Cross in various versions are mounted on most of my modern bikes.
