Black kite (Milvus migrans), near Gurdwara Damdama Sahib Sikh Temple, Delhi

The species is widely distributed in Eurasia, but absent from Britain, where the red kite (M. milvus) is found. The latter has a deeper fork to the tail and lighter-coloured plumage.
