Glastonbury Tor
Glastonbury Tor is easily seen from the RSPB nature reserve of Ham Wall. This prominent conical hill, of natural origin, rises abruptly from the Somerset levels. It is surmounted by a roofless 14th century church tower. Excavations on the tor have revealed Iron Age artefacts.
