Caves of Drach, Porto Cristo, Mallorca
I have explored many caves in my lifetime, both commercial and "wild". I can confidently say that the Caves of Drach are the most beautiful I have ever seen. They are extensive, with over 2 km of passages and some very large chambers. In the well-known finale of the public tour, a boat, rowed silently across the black gloom of a cave lake, ferries musicians playing, for example, Elgar and Vivaldi -- live. Overwhelming, just overwhelming!
