The palm warbler is a member of the New World family of parulid warblers. It spends the winters in the sunny southeast of the United States and in the Caribbean, returning north in spring to breed in the spruce bogs of Canada. This bird is already beginning to acquire the bright rufous and yellow breeding plumage.
