Changeable hawk eagle (Nisaetus cirrhatus), Yala National Park, Sri Lanka

The name refers to the striking plumage differences between adults and juveniles. This is a juvenile. This solitary species is distributed from India to the Philippines. In Srilanka they prefer dense woodland.
