Spotless starling (Sturnus unicolor) singing from rooftop, Essaouira, Morocco
Spotless starlings are closely related to the common starling (S. vulgaris), but have a much more restricted range, confined to the Iberian Peninsula, northwest Africa, southernmost France, and the islands of Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica. There is some hybridisation where the ranges overlap.
