Vietnam Protest 1968

Chicago, IL August 30, 1968: A demonstrator hangs onto a light post and speaks with young Illinois National Guardsmen in front of the Conrad Hilton hotel early Friday morning. The hotel area was the site of hundreds of injuries on Wednesday night as Chicago police and the guardsmen clashed with demonstrators under the full light and cameras of the press.
