Disappointment Averted
Kinda but I'm skipping straight to the main event this time.
So this spot turned out to be the final decision with conflicting reports that the ATSF 3751 was facing east and leading, followed by a correction shortly there after where the consist was laid out in full (all four parts of it). I rolled on down west of the Highland Avenue Intermediate Signals. From this spot on green platform fence to shoot around and even more surprisingly no other people. Only issue that really occurred was that lucky old sun was flat against the south side of the train only a little hint of sunlight on the nose this time...Anyways here's a fresher than ever ATSF 3751 backing up through Fullerton with it's two car Operation Lifesaver train assisted by Amtrak 203 in a paint scheme that matches nicely with the up coming weekend event.
