David Victor says: The more I look at this photo, the more I am drawn into it. Why? Because of the emotions rendered by the perfect reflection, the rust on the boat, the faded paint, the shadows the boat and on its bow -- and the perfect gloom of the lighting. Il y a tellement d'émotion ici ... paix, solitude, intemporalité... Etang de Thau, Sète / Hérault / France

David Victor says: There is a reflectiveness here both in the sense of mental reflection and physical reflection. The mental reflection rest with the solitude of the lone off-center boat with its slack anchor line. The physical reflection comes with the clearness of the shallow water allows the rocks below to echo the rocks above the surface giving a second sense of the actual reflection of the coast and boat reflect on on the water's surface itself. This is a wonderful scene. Tinitelaaq, Greenlad

David Victor says: This photo has a sense of emotion to it that I can't quite identify... for me, it goes beyond just an interesting perspective and the excellent composition of the framing here. Truly an outstanding photograph.
