Burlington Northern RS1 953 Superior WI 8-29-1970

Here's a shot of Burlington Northern RS1 953 resting in the Old Town Yard in East End Superior August 1970. The 953 was built in August 1945 as Northern Pacific 158, renumbered to NP 803 in 1950. It was retired in May 1972 and sold to Precision National. Superior, WI August 29, 1970. J.W. Stubblefield Kodachrome from my Collection.
