Frozen Ice-Flower in Space

I found a beautiful, very small flower floating in the pool, and was going to fetch it out and discard it, but then I got the idea to freeze it and try some experimental photos. So I took the frozen flower embedded in ice, and placed it on glass. I used two flashlights to illumination the scene in the dark: one was an LED flashlight that created a bluish white-balance; the other had a warm bulb that create a warm white-balance. I took a series of shots as the ice was melting, so between the different positions of the flashlights and the melting ice, no two shots were the same.

This one had some interesting textures that make it seem as if the flower is floating through space [channeling my inner Star Trek]. :)
