A Shaft of Light Piercing thru the Trees
I took this shot as sunset was approaching, in a very rugged area where it was impossible to set up my tripod with good footing because of all the branches tangled up on the ground like vines. But then I discovered by rocking my camera on the tripod [as if it were a monopod], it was possible to catch a ray of flickering light piercing thru the trees. At f 1.8, the bokeh appeared magical like dancing spheres of heavenly light. I did my best to brace the camera so there was little camera movement at an exposure of 1/320 sec.
