When the World Moves On
I occasionally like to do things inspired by other things. The thing I've done here is inspired by this thing:

That thing is an image from a photographer/artist I admire named David Lachapelle. The piece is called "When the World Is Through", and I really like a lot of things about it. I never really do all white outfits or bright/high key images, and I rarely do blonde hair, so hey, why not do all of 'em at once?
The original image depicts a person walking with a suitcase and a broken umbrella, away from a destroyed house. I thought I might carry on a similar look via the brightness, color palette, and the use of an umbrella. I changed the energy of the photo though by switching it up from a destroyed house and rubble, to a nice meadow picnic scene. In my head, the person in my image has moved on from the tragedy of their lost home, and at least for this moment, they are safe, content, and contemplating what's next for themselves.
