Mt McKerrow forest

A good test for the knees as we walked to Mt McKerrow yesterday. Beautiful forests and incredible ferns all the way, especially at the top, which was touching cloud-base. Nice to see two big rats caught in the stoat traps. Kiwis have been reintroduced in the area and there were huge numbers of traps on the tracks. They work!
