Maidstone - museum extension

The extension to the Maidstone Museum is now open. Inside there's a new entrance, toilets etc, some extra gallery space and what I think must be a meeting or education room.

 

Even on a dull day like this, the metal cladding catches the light rather beautifully. It makes me think of little gilt boxes in which precious things might be kept - which is entirely appropriate.
