XR-101 "Xiphos"
The XR-101 is the only firearm designed by ORION Technologies that has not gone into full production, aside from a small line of prototypes built recently.
The 7.62x39 Caseless round was developed in conjunction with the XR-101. Existing variations of caseless ammunition did not meet the requirements of the XR-101 program.
Multiple issues have prevented the XR-101 from being adopted by any major fighting force. The most prominent is the over-complexity of the bolt and loading mechanism.
