Depot art

The G scale layout in the basement of the Waupaca depot will feature model railroad of what we believe is a somewhat unique design. The trains with the be the main focus including the digital sounds and light system. Instead of just looking at a train table or shelf the viewer will look into the scenes . The room lights will be darkened and the viewers attention will focus onto the lit layout scenes along the walls of the room.
A local artist., Lisa Benitez, is doing a remarkable job painting the backgrounds. She uses what I might characterize as a somewhat lyrical style.
