Pair of custom painted Green Bay and Western FAs purchased from the Russ Meartz estate. The Artistocraft engines have operating Mars lights, ditch lights and interior lighting. We have converted all our locomotives to Digitrax with sound units.
I was contacted by Jeff Damerst after he saw the picture of the units on the internet. He said he had painted some just like it for a customer. I looked under them and found stickers from his business, Shawmut Car Shops, attached to the bottom. Jeff was able to tell me a bit about the heritage of the units.
