Female Red-backed Shrike

Trukhaniv Island, Kyiv, Ukraine. While not as flashy as her male counterpart, there is a subtle beauty to this female shrike. She is also wonderfully expressive. I thoroughly enjoyed our encounter. Best viewed large.
