Sandstorm II Micro and XL
The Lancer Class Corvette made by Airshow Shipyards. It is the smallest ship available on the civilian market armed with a HVY Laser Cannon, which is powered by a new compact Fission Reactor. In addition to this it has four pulse cannons and could be fitted with two concealed forward facing turrets. It could carry a crew of 18-36 people and has a sizable cargo hold in its ventral fin. Additional cargo could be stored in the ventral section of the bow, but can't be accessed by the crew until landing, making it a great place to store vehicles. The Lancers are preferred by privateers and mercenaries, and as such there is a vast variety of aftermarket modifications available.
The most famous of the Lancers is the Sandstorm II. This ship and it's crew are known for harassing the pirate slave trade activities. It's Captain Sarn Orzo, has lead hundreds of successful raids against pirate slaver installations through out the galaxy, liberating many slaves from the abusive and greedy clutches of the Red Eye Pirates!
