Disruptor XL WIP 2: LDDTube Frame interior
When I started my SHIP entry three years ago today, it took me about a month to get this far. By then I had already realized that I had bit off way more than I could chew in one months time. So this became a multi year LDD project. The Idea behind this project was to double the size of my MKIII Disruptor:

I started with a modular hallowed cube frame connected by technic bricks then longer plates on the outside. There are 19 16x16x8 segments in all. This gave me a great SNOT base to work off of. I later added 1x16 technic bricks along the sides, which a year later were used to help make the complicated triangular structures I used for the exterior hull. That was a bit of a happy accident, where everything just sort of fell together unintentionally and perfectly. The base frame is 361 studs in length and 76 studs wide (9.475 ft long x2.31 ft wide)
