Override Squadron
Based on the title screen from the video game "Escape Velocity Override" by Ambrosia SW. A game from which I drew much inspiration.
Override Squadron, which consists of 12 starfighters, guards SP#5 Ship Wreck field. The pilots are amongst the deadlyest dog fighters in the galaxy, known for their incredable skill to fly through the dense asteroid feild at great speeds with out crashing. They know each asteroid in the feild by heart, and can navigate it better and faster than the average interceptor pilot. Seen here durring the Battle of Ship Wreck Field, engaging 3 Energic interceptors.
Ship Wreck Feild is a dense Asteroid field orbiting around a young star. It is so dense that only the smallest of star ships can fit between the stationary asteroids. There are over 210 star bases scattered throughout the field, that mine the asteriods for heavy metals and other resources, many of which employ slave labor. Seen here is Base 39, which is near an old decimated war cruiser.
