508th Parachute Infantry Regiment Memorial, Wollaton Hall, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Part of the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army, the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, known as the 'Red Devils', camped in the grounds of Wollaton Hall in the days leading up to the D-Day Invasion.
