Summerland
I have a handful of what I think are amazing shots of my favorite mountain from here, I opted for the tight shot for now. this was taken as I was leaving and before I got to the climb down the mountain was gone, it's just that fast up there.
The moniker Summerland came to be in 1886 when Major Edward
S.Ingraham noted how beautiful the flowers were here on the Eastern meadow in the summer months, I was too late for the blooms, but (dang) the peaks were amazing. :-)
I am concerned about the weather, but I'm thinking of retrying Summerland to Ohanapecosh Park in the morning if anyone is interested in going. We are running out of time for the year here. (working this weekend again)
