SVBWAY
HFF!
This is just one of NY's 472 subway stations that folks use to get around the bustling city. 5.7 Million a day use it and it goes 24/7/365. It opened in 1904 and if that doesn't impress you, it covers 850 miles counting the non revenue tracks. I had nothing but good experiences on them and man were we on them. We hit every borough in five days and I don't know how many of these stations, a dozen at least.
I took this pic a) because it's the only one I saw that still had the SVBWAY sign, and b) because the lady center was wearing red. Out of habit I converted it to b&w and well, you'll just have to trust me, she's wearing red. :-)
Must be enlarged to fully enjoy...
My internet has been crapolla all week, doing my best to keep up but the spinning blue wheel of death is simply maddening!
