Silver Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls that you'll ever see, the soothing glacial blue/green color is amazing and changes in hue and intensity at different depths, however, when you remove the color it's power becomes more evident. It's rolling rocks, tossing trees, wearing away at it's channel and echoing down a narrow gorge after the four tiered drops and this forty foot plunge. Waterfalls NW says more people have been killed here than 'at pretty much any other waterfall in the park.' No numbers to back that up but you can walk right up to it if you want.
I have color pics from my trip here last year in the folder if you are interested.
Blow it up large, it's really something to take in.
