It's A Geep Thing

Northbound New York Central extra 5983 comes through Kentland, Indiana in April of 1962 with NYC #5983-5976 and a wide-vision caboose. These 2 NYC GP9's were built by EMD in December of 1959 so they were fairly new in this photograph. View is looking S/E from just south of the tower. Photographer is unknown.
