NYC 2821 at Aroma Park
Eastbound New York Central extra 2821 is seen crossing the Kankakee River at Aroma Park, Illinois on their Big 4 route, circa 1952. Head out is a GN boxcar, followed by what looks like L&N, VGN and N&W hoppers. This large bridge still exists today and is used by the KB&S railroad.
New York Central Class L2c 4-8-2 Mohawk #2821 was built by Schenectady in 1929. Retirement date is unknown.
