NYC/B&O Chrisman, Illinois
On October 10th, 2011, I was coming home from Terre Haute, Indiana and while driving back along the old NYC Egyptian Line I stopped here at Chrisman, Illinois to grab some shots of what was left of the signals and interlocking at "Rose". The old NYC type-G and B&O CPL signals were still standing but in rough shape. Since I am not really familiar with the Egyptian Line south of Danville, Illinois I don't have much info or photos to share but I do have a few oldies I will post along with some train orders from Rose tower.
In this photo, the northbound signal is still standing but the bottom head has been turned and taken out of service. This view looks north.
