From The Tower Friday--Griffith
Tom Figura took this photo of me waving from Griffith tower at eastbound Canadian National train A490 on August 26th, 1999 at 5:30 pm. Tom was a railfan from somewhere in Ohio who I never met again but he spent the better part of my afternoon shift talking RR's with me and taking great photos. He sent me copies of everything he took that afternoon in trade for letting him hang around. I didn't see any reason not to, considering it would be only months before this tower was gone.
Levers out for this move were 19 & 25.
