So the work is finally done, and I have to say, it feels good to be finished at last. I was right to fear perimeter detail - but now that that's done, this is ready to show you guys.
I started this build on January 8th, 2018. I can't claim to have been working on this non-stop since then (I did far less work over the summer than I may have wished, for instance) but I can honestly claim that it took me over a year, even if just. I have no idea how many hours I sank into this, but I can say that I'm happy I did it.
I want to thank Bashing Kits one final time for the google drive he put together of photos of the original falcon. This would not have been possible without him. Please take a look at the album (linked below) - it's fascinating to see the original in such detail!
I also want to give a HUGE thanks to everyone who has liked, viewed, or commented on the WIP as I went. Your excitement, even if small, was a huge help in getting this done. It's fantastic to know that other people enjoy my builds, and I hope the final build does not disappoint!
