One pallet, just the blocks,

Break them and cut them to the desired size and,

one board of MDF ordenar pay wood.

 

Special is just the backgroung glue. Position them to the pattern is a 2 or 3 hours project and 24 h for the glue to dry and you have a rustic and smart decoration at the same time.
