Sunnyside patchwork quilt
This was my second quilt, made months ago. A lesson in not using polyester batting - there's no crinkle, it's just flat and lifeless. The result of taking three kids to Spotlight on a Saturday afternoon, buying a prepack of cheap Thinsulate batting in a hurry because I couldn't face dragging a giant roll of Warm & Natural to the counter while pushing a pram and stopping the other two going bonkers. Just a simple charm square quilt, about 50" x 60".
