Light-sensitive chemicals used include potassium ferricyanide (yellow prussiate of potash) and ammonium iron(III) citrate. No development was performed—the image is purely the result of exposure. The distinctive coloration arises from the interaction of the chemicals with sunlight over the extended exposure time.
