Montes Apenninus.

Good seeing conditions.

Can you find Blue Lake on this image ?

www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXM6w2tawAs

Telescope : Celestron SC8, 2x stock barlow.

Camera : ZWO ASI294MC.

Capture: ZWO ASICap.

Stacking, sharpening, white balance : OpenCV

Average of 5000 aligned frames.

I dobled the resolution of each frame after optical flow align and before adding to the accumulator in order to inspect at sub-pixel level the residual alignment artifacts. It s why the image size twice large than marked in ASICap spec below.

The pink halos around of bright objects are caused by chromatic aberrations introduced by SC8 corrector and stock Barlow.

Raw TIFF stack (bzip2-ed) can be downloaded form my google drive drive.google.com/drive/folders/16Ko6ebfuFToQyXbqewETryaVs...
