Blickling, Tree
This is a tree at Blickling Hall, lit up for the Wild Winter After Dark event. One of our ‘new traditions’ for Christmas is to buy tickets for this event. Then for me to categorically refuse to get out of the car in light of the atrocious weather. Luckily, for both years, the torrential rain and gale force winds have abated sufficiently for us to skid round the grounds. The trail ends at the Hall where I understand giant chocolate and nut waffles can be commissioned. The photograph has been cropped and the depth of colour enhanced for Sliders Sunday. The National Trust did the rest!
